In this paper, totally 1555 diurnal Lepidoptera species or subspecies are listed for the first time. Daily activities of the adult Lepidoptera in Turkey and also in abroad is one of the research subjects of the authors. Information concerning the adult activities are currently compiled by the authors in the Info-system of the Cesa with the Cesa project ESL (Ecological Studies on the Lepidoptera).
Below, the diurnal Lepidopteran species/subspecies are listed alphabetically under the related families with the vernacular names in Turkish, if exist.
